Bloc Party announce 'Silent Alarm' tour

English indie rockers Bloc Party have announced a return to the U.S. later this year performing their debut album 'Silent Alarm' in its entirety. The brief 6-city jaunt kicks off September 16th in Washington, DC and stretches into November making additional stops in Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The group last toured across North America back in 2016 when they were joined by special guests The Vaccines and MS MR.

Bloc Party's debut studio album 'Silent Alarm' was released on February 2nd, 2005 and includes the singles 'So Here We Are / Positive Tension', 'Banquet' and 'Pioneers'. The album reached #3 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and won Best Album at the 2006 NME Awards. Their latest 2016 album 'Hymns' was their first to feature Justin Harris on bass/keyboards and Louise Bartle on drums. Other band members currently include Kele Okereke and Russell Lissack.
