Brand New announce U.S. tour dates
Alt rockers Brand New have announced a fall 2017 tour across America after promising a release of their fifth (and possibly final) album. The 10-city trek kicks off October 15th in Detroit and plans to visit cities like Chicago, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Atlanta and Dallas. Joining the tour in support will be special guest (Sandy) Alex G. Last fall, the band launched a 22-date tour across America joined by Modern Baseball and The Front Bottoms.
Talks of disbandment have been swirling around since 2012, but Brand New should be releasing their fifth album on vinyl sometime in October 2017. Aside from their 'Leaked Demos 2006' release in late 2015, the band hasn't dropped a new album since 2009's 'Daisy' which reached a career-best #6 on the Billboard 200. Their previous 2003 album 'Deja Entendu' has been certified Gold by the RIAA. The band still consists of longtime members Vincent Accardi, Jesse Lacey, Brian Lane and Garrett Tierney.
