Chairlift appeared on the music scene with the appearance of the album 'Evident Utensil' released on January 8, 2008. The track 'Evident Utensil' quickly became a hit and made Chairlift one of the newest emerging talents at that moment. Thereafter, Chairlift came out with the extremely beloved album 'Does You Inspire You' which includes some of the most listened to songs from the Chairlift catalog. 'Does You Inspire You' features the song 'Garbage' which has made itself the most well-known for followers to see during the gigs.
