David Gilmour books North American tour dates with new album

Pink Floyd's David Gilmour has announced a set of 2015-2016 tour dates supporting his first solo album in 10 years. Starting in September, the British singer-songwriter will kick off the Rattle That Lock Tour in Croatia followed by a European run visiting Italy, France, Denmark and the UK. Then in the spring 2016, Gilmour will head to North America for the first time in over a decade with performances in Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago and New York City. David Gilmour will be releasing his fourth solo album 'Rattle That Lock' on September 18th, 2015 via Columbia Records. His previous album 'On an Island' hit shelves in 2006 and reached #6 on the Billboard 200 and #1 in the UK. In 2008, Gilmour won the Ivor Novello Lifetime Contribution Award along with the Outstanding Contribution title at the Q Awards. Rolling Stone magazine classified him as the #14 greatest guitarist of all time.
