Gregg Allman announces U.S. tour dates

Shortly after embarking on his first solo tour since The Allman Brothers Band was dissolved, Gregg Allman has announced plans for a busy spring with another solo U.S. tour. Greg will begin the touring year with a show in Northfield, OH on March 13th and make stops in Chicago, Milwaukee, West Hollywood, Agoura Hills and Austin through early May. During the trek, he'll also be making festival appearances at Wanee and StageCoach in April. UPDATE: Doobie Brothers will join Gregg Allman for a short tour starting August 19th in Boston and hitting Canandaigua, Gilford, Holmdel, Atlantic City and Saratoga Springs. Gregg Allman's touring band includes members Scott Sharrard (guitar), Peter Levin (keyboard), Steve Potts (drums), Marc Quinones (percussion), Ron Johnson (bass), Jay Collins (horns), Art Edmaiston (horns) and Marc Franklin (horns). Gregg Allman began his solo career back in 1971 after the death of Duane Allman. He released his first solo album 'Laid Back' in 1973.
