Grizzly Bear announce U.S. tour dates
Indie rockers Grizzly Bear have announced they'll be back on tour this year supporting their latest album 'Painted Ruins'. The new summer trek kicks off June 15th in Montclair and extends through September visiting markets like Boston, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Nashville, Los Angeles and their hometown of Brooklyn. Joining the tour on select dates will be Austin-based rockers Spoon. Last June, the band teamed up with Spoon after launching their first major tour in four years across North America back in 2016.
Grizzly Bear released their fifth studio album 'Painted Ruins' on August 18th, 2017 via RCA Records. The new album follows up 2012's 'Shields' which reached a career-best #7 on the Billboard 200 and includes the singles 'Sleeping Ute' and 'Yet Again'. Also in 2012, the band embarked on their Shields Tour which stretched into 2014 visiting North America and Europe. Grizzly Bear consists of longtime members Ed Droste, Daniel Rossen, Christopher Bear and Chris Taylor.
