Katy Perry announces 'Witness: The Tour'

Multi-platinum singer Katy Perry has announced a huge North American arena tour supporting her next album 'Witness'. The massive 43-city trek kicks off September 7th in Columbus and stretches through the rest of 2017 and into early 2018. Tons of major U.S. markets are on the schedule including Philadelphia, Washington DC, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas and Las Vegas. Canadian shows are planned for Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. The new tour follows up 2014's Prismatic World Tour which ran into 2015 and featured a total of 151 performances.

UPDATE: Tour openers have been announced featuring Noah Cyrus (September 19th - November 1st), Purity Ring (November 7th - December 20th) and Carly Rae Jepsen (January 5th - February 5th).

Katy Perry released her fifth studio album 'Witness' on June 9th, 2017 via Capitol Records. The new album follows up 2013's 'Prism' which reached #1 in eight countries while being certified Platinum (or better) in twelve countries. Katy has become one of the best-selling musical artists of all time with more than 100 million records sold globally throughout her career. Her 'Dark Horse' music video became the first by a female artist to reach 1 billion views on Vevo.
