M83 announce 'Fantasy' tour
Anthony Gonzalez and his M83 project will be heading back to North America in 2023 to support their next album 'Fantasy'. The 28-date tour takes place in April/May making U.S. stops in Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington DC, New York, Chicago, Seattle and Oakland. Canadian shows are planned for Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Later in the year, the Grammy-nominated band will be performing in Mexico and Europe.
UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into October visiting Tacoma, Eugene, Saratoga, Los Angeles, Del Mar, Las Vegas and Austin (Austin City Limits Music Festival).
M83 will be releasing their ninth studio album 'Fantasy' on March 17th, 2023 via Mute. The new album follows up 2019's 'DSVII' and 2016's 'Junk' which reached #26 on the Billboard 200 and features guest appearances by Beck, Steve Vai and Susanne Sundfør among others. Also in 2016, the band toured extensively across North America with support from Sofi Tukker, Chairlift, Tennyson, Shura, Yeasayer and onDeadWaves. In addition to Gonzalez, the group currently consists of Loïc Maurin, Kaela Sinclair, Joe Berry and Jordan Lawlor.
