Primal Scream Announce Rare Tour Across North America

Scottish rockers Primal Scream have announced their first run of concerts since the death of founding guitarist Robert "Throb" Young. Following their appearances at the Austin Psych Fest in early May, the band will finally take to the road again visiting New Orleans, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia. To finish their tour, they'll visit New York's Irving Plaza and Brooklyn's Warsaw in late May.

Primal Scream haven't been on tour since a short run of shows in 2009 and a few California dates in 2013, so this will be a perfect time to see them back on stage again. The band released their album 'More Light' in 2013 which followed-up 2008's 'Beautiful Future'. Their 2006 album 'Riot City Blues' was the last to feature Robert Young's exuberant work on guitar and harmonica.
