Robin Trower announces 'Bridge of Sighs' anniversary tour

Veteran blues rocker Robin Trower has announced a massive U.S. tour taking place later in 2024 celebrating the 50th anniversary of his classic album 'Bridge of Sighs'. The 30-date trek kicks off September 14th in Des Moines and runs through October visiting tons of big markets including Chicago, Milwaukee, Huntington, Glenside, Atlantic City and Atlanta. Joining the tour on select dates will be special guest David Maida.

Trower's 1974 album 'Bridge of Sighs' was certified Gold by the RIAA and includes the popular songs 'Day of the Eagle' and 'Too Rolling Stoned' along with its title track. His most recent 2023 album 'Joyful Sky' (with Sari Schorr) reached #1 on Billboard's Blues chart and follows up 2022's 'No More Worlds to Conquer'. Since beginning his career in 1962, the British guitarist has been often compared to Jimi Hendrix, although he never received the publicity nor same volume of fans.
