Temple of the Dog reunite, announce U.S. tour

Soundgarden-Pearl Jam supergroup Temple of the Dog will be hitting the road for the first time ever to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their self-titled album. The 8-date tour kicks off in November with back-to-back shows in Upper Darby, San Francisco and Seattle along with single gigs in New York and Inglewood. The tour will feature singer Chris Cornell, guitarists Mike McCready and Stone Gossard, bassist Jeff Ament and drummer Matt Cameron.

Temple of the Dog's self-titled album was released on April 16th, 1991 and contains the popular singles 'Hunger Strike' and 'Say Hello 2 Heaven'. The band will be releasing a 25th anniversary reissue of the album on September 30th, 2016 available in four versions: a four-CD Super Deluxe package, a double-LP, a two-CD edition and a single CD. Chris Cornell formed Temple of the Dog after the overdose death of his close friend Andrew Wood.
