U2 announce 'eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour'
Coming up in 2018, U2 will be embarking on a sequel to 2015's iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour hitting 15 cities across North America. Their eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour kicks off May 2nd in Tulsa and extends through June visiting major markets like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Montreal, Philadelphia, Washington DC and New York. The new outing follows up 2017's The Joshua Tree Tour which was joined by special guests Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, OneRepublic and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
U2 will be releasing their fourteenth studio album 'Songs of Experience' on December 1st, 2017 via Island Records. The new album follows up 2014's 'Songs of Innocence' and 2009's 'No Line on the Horizon' which was their eighth consecutive LP to reach #1 on the Billboard 200. Back in 1988, their first #1 album 'The Joshua Tree' won Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have now won 22 Grammy Awards, more than any other band in history.
