Black Flag announce 'My War' tour

Veteran punks Black Flag have announced a monumental 2023 tour across North America performing their classic album 'My War' in its entirety. The 67-date outing kicks off March 25th in Austin and runs into September invading other U.S. markets like Seattle, Chicago, Brooklyn, Houston and Atlanta. Canadian shows are planned for Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. The band recently joined forces with TSOL and The Dickies for their So-Cal Invasion Tour which took place in 2022 and was joined by special guests Total Chaos.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into 2024 making additional stops in Portland, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Santa Ana, Los Angeles, Ventura, Tempe, Fort Collins and Oklahoma City.

Black Flag's 1984 album 'My War' reached #5 in the UK and was the first of three released during the same year. Back in 2014, the band launched their Victimology Tour across North America which was joined by frontman Greg Ginn's psych-electronic project HOR in addition to Cinema Cinema. The hardcore group continues to be referred to as leaders in the rise of underground record labels among punk rock bands of the 80s. In addition to Ginn who formed the band in 1976, members now include Mike Vallely, Harley Duggan and Charles Wiley.
