George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic announce U.S. tour

Funk legend George Clinton has announced he'll be touring extensively across America once again in 2024 alongside Parliament-Funkadelic. The 17-date trek kicks off May 5th in New Orleans and extends into June hitting other markets like Atlanta, Washington DC, Huntington, Cincinnati, Detroit, Denver and Las Vegas. The musician recently wrapped up his Just For The Funk Of It which took place in 2023.

Back in 2019, Clinton and his Parliament-Funkadelic collective launched their One Nation Under A Groove Tour which stretched into 2022 and was joined by special guests Galactic, Fishbone, Dumpstaphunk, Zapp, Miss Velvet and the Blue Wolf, Dopapod, Pimps of Joytime, The Motet and The Floozies. His last solo album 'George Clinton and His Gangsters of Love' was released in 2008 and features guest appearances by Red Hot Chili Peppers, El DeBarge, Carlos Santana, RZA and Kim Burrell among others. His debut album 'Computer Games' dropped back in 1982 and reached a career-best #3 on Billboard's R&B/Hip Hop chart.
