Mercyful Fate announce North American tour

Metal legends Mercyful Fate have announced their first North American tour in over two decades commencing later in 2022. The 14-city journey takes place in October/November invading major markets like Dallas, Los Angeles, Denver, Detroit, Brooklyn, Montreal, Philadelphia and Atlanta. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Kreator and Midnight. The band recently wrapped up a European festival run earlier this summer while debuting their new song 'The Jackal of Salzburg'.

Back in 2019, lead vocalist King Diamond launched a major North American tour with support from Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats and Unto Others. Mercyful Fate's latest studio album '9' was released back in 1999 and featured bassist Sharlee D'Angelo before he joined Arch Enemy. Aside form King Diamond, the group currently consists of additional members Hank Shermann, Mike Wead, Bjarne T. Holme and Joey Vera.
