Metric announce 'Days Of Oblivion Tour'

Juno-winning outfit Metric will be launching a sizable North American tour commencing in 2024 supporting their newest album 'Formentera II'. Their Days Of Oblivion Tour kicks off April 30th in Norfolk and extends into July making notable stops in Asheville, Atlanta, Denver, Indianapolis and Gary. The band spent portions of 2023 joining Garbage and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds during portions of their co-headlining tour.

Metric released their ninth studio album 'Formentera II' on October 13th, 2023 via their own Metric Music International label. The new album follows up 2022's 'Formentera' which reached #26 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart. The same year, the band launched The Doomscroller Tour across Canada which was joined by special guests Dear Rouge, Bartees Strange, Interpol and Spoon. Back in 2019, they teamed up with Zoé for a huge co-headlining tour with support from July Talk. Since forming in 1998, the Toronto-based group has opened for acts like The Rolling Stones, Imagine Dragons, Arcade Fire and Paramore among others.
