Metronomy announce 'Metronomy Forever' tour
English indietronica group Metronomy will be heading back to North America later in 2022 supporting their brand new album 'Small World'. The 11-city outing takes place in October making U.S. stops in Washington, Philadelphia, Boston, Detroit, Milwaukee, Denver, Seattle, Oakland and Los Angeles. Canadian shows are planned for Montreal and Toronto. Prior to the tour, the band will be making their way back to Europe for additional live performances.
Metronomy released their seventh studio album 'Small World' on February 18th, 2022 via Because Music. The new album tied a career-best #7 in the UK and follows up 2019's 'Metronomy Forever' and 2016's 'Summer 08'. Since 2009, the band has been nominated for 2 NME Awards and 13 UK Music Video Awards just to list a few. The group formed in 1999 and currently consists of members Joseph Mount, Oscar Cash, Anna Prior, Olugbenga Adelekan and Michael Lovett.
