MGMT announce U.S. tour dates
Indie rockers MGMT have announced a sizable spring 2019 tour across America supporting their latest album 'Little Dark Age'. The 13-city journey takes place in May visiting markets like Houston, Cleveland, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Pittsburgh and New York. Also during the spring, the band will be making an appearance at Long Beach's Just Like Heaven Festival along with Phoenix, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Beach House among others. The new outing follows up 2018's Little Dark Age World Tour which visited North America and Europe.
MGMT released their fourth studio album 'Little Dark Age' on February 9th, 2018 via Columbia Records. The new album follows up 2013's self-titled record and 2010's 'Congratulations' which charted at a career-best #2 on the Billboard 200. Also in 2010, they was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards along with Choice Music - Rock Group at the Teen Choice Awards. The band founded in 2002 by members Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser.
