Mogwai announce North American tour
Scottish post rock outfit Mogwai will be heading back to North America in early 2022 to promote their brand new album 'As the Love Continues'. The 16-date trek takes place in April making U.S. stops in Washington DC, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, Omaha, Englewood, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. Canadian shows are planned for Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Following the tour, the band will be returning to Europe for festival appearances at Primavera Sound and Release Athens.
Mogwai released their 10th studio album 'As the Love Continues' on February 19th, 2021 via Rock Action Records. The new album was their first to reach #1 on the UK charts and follows up 2017's 'Every Country's Sun'. Back in 2016, the band released two different soundtrack albums with the first being featured on the BBC documentary Atomic, Living in Dread and Promise and the second as a collaboration with Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross and Gustavo Santaolalla on the Leonardo DiCaprio documentary Before the Flood.
