Nightwish announce 'Decades: World Tour'
Symphonic metal icons Nightwish have announced a return to North America in early 2022 to support their brand new album 'Human. :II: Nature.' The 11-date trek takes place in May making U.S. stops in Boston, New York, Silver Spring, Chicago, St. Paul, Denver, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Canadian shows are planned for Toronto and Montreal. Back in 2018, the band brought their Decades: World Tour to North America performing some rare material from their early era with "some new twists".
Nightwish released their ninth studio album 'Human. :II: Nature.' on April 10th, 2020 via Nuclear Blast. Their previous 2015 album 'Endless Forms Most Beautiful' reached #34 on the Billboard 200 and was certified 2x Platinum in their home country of Finland. The same year, they launched their Endless Forms Most Beautiful World Tour which visited North America, Europe, Latin America, Australia and Asia. The band is best known for their complex metal sound which includes a mix of symphonic metal with opera-like vocals by Floor Jansen.
