Rina Sawayama announces 'Hold the Girl' tour

Award-winning songstress Rina Sawayama has announced a major U.S. tour commencing later in 2022 to support her next album 'Hold the Girl'. The 13-city excursion takes place in November visiting Brooklyn, Boston, Silver Springs, Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Phoenix, San Diego, Oakland and Los Angeles. Prior to the tour, the singer will be heading over to the UK for additional performances.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into the fall with support from Magdalena Bay, Empress Of and Tom Rasmussen making stops in Toronto, Salt Lake City, Denver, Seattle and New Orleans.

Sawayama will be releasing her sophomore album 'Hold the Girl' on September 16th, 2022 via Dirty Hit. Her debut 2020 album 'Sawayama' reached #6 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and features a guest appearance by Elton John on an updated version of the track 'Chosen Family' which was nominated for Best Collaboration at the NME Awards. Back in 2021, the singer-songwriter brought The Dynasty Tour to North America along with special guest Hana.
