Joe Walsh & Bad Company announce joint tour
Classic rock veteran Joe Walsh has announced he'll be teaming up with Bad Company for a co-headlining tour across America starting May 12th in Dallas. Their 'One Hell of a Night' tour will be visiting 25 U.S. cities including major markets like Los Angeles, Tampa, Chicago, Atlanta and Nashville. Opening for the shows will be Steve Rodgers; son of Bad Company singer Paul Rodgers.
UPDATE: After touring with Bad Company, Joe Walsh will be embarking on a solo tour starting July 16th in Cincinnati and stretching into mid-September. The Walsh Tour plans to visit 19 U.S. cities including Atlantic City, Baltimore, Raleigh, Memphis and Louisville. Walsh will be performing with a band that includes singers Leslie Fuller, Lois Mahalia, Windy Wagner and Rickey Washington along with drummers Joe Vitale and Chad Cromwell, guitarist Waddy Wachtel, bassist Larry Young and keyboardists Jimmy Wallace and Clayton Janes.
Joe Walsh released his second solo live album 'All Night Long: Live in Dallas' in 2013 which was recorded at Dallas' Reunion Arena back in 1981. His latest studio album 'Analog Man' peaked at #12 on the Billboard 200 and features contributions from Ringo Starr, Kenny Passarelli, Joe Vitale, Jim Fox, Dale Peters, and Little Richard. As a member of The Eagles, Walsh was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
