The Swedish electronic pair, The Knife, consisting of siblings Karin Dreijer Andersson and Olof Dreijer, have just announced they will be performing during a short stint in the United States and Canada. The tour, dubbed 'Shaking The Habitual', will start in Oakland, CA at the Fox Theatre for 2 nights, April 15 and 16 then makes its way to Denver, CO at the Fillmore Auditorium on April 21, 2014. Next the duo will appear at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Il on April 23, 2014 followed by gigs in Toronto, ON at the Kool Haus on the 25th of April and then on to Montreal, QC at the Metropolis on April 26. Boston will be the next stop at the House of Blues on April 28, 2014 then the last of the tour will be at the Terminal 5 in New York for April 30 and May 1, 2014.

The Knife became popular back in 2003 after their album 'Deep Cuts' was released. Their music consists of a variety of styles including experimental, dark ambient, synthpop, minimal techno, trance, IDM, trip hop and indietronica.
