Veruca Salt has announced the reunion of its original band members after thirteen years, going on tour this summer for thirteen dates. The tour will begin in Portland at the Mississippi Studios on June 22nd and continue to Seattle, San Francisco, and West Hollywood, all in the month of June. In July they will be in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Saint Louis, DC, Philly, New York, Brooklyn and the final date is scheduled for July 26th at the Brighton Music Hall in Allston.

Members Louis Post on guitar and vocals, Nina Gordon on guitar and vocals, Jim Shapiro on drums and Steve Lack on Bass reunited after a short hiatus in 2012. They have recently released a 10-inch vinyl disc with two new songs titled 'It's Holy' and 'The Museum of Broken Relationships'. Since 1994, Veruca Salt has released a total of seven studio albums, the last being 'IV', which was released in 2006. The band has also announced they will be heading to Australia this September 24th - 28th.
