Swallow the Sun announce 'Shining Over North America Tour'

Finnish group Swallow the Sun will be traveling to North America in early 2025 to promote their next album 'Shining'. Their Shining Over North America Tour takes place in February/March hitting major U.S. markets like New York, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Chicago. Canadian shows are planned for Toronto and Montreal. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Harakiri for the Sky, Ghost Bath and Snakes of Russia.

Swallow the Sun will be releasing their ninth studio album 'Shining' on October 18th, 2024 via Century Media. The new album follows up 2021's 'Moonflowers' and 2019's 'When a Shadow Is Forced into the Light' which reached a career-best #12 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. Back in 2023, the death doom band joined Batushka during their North America Black Pilgrimage Tour along with Stormruler. The group formed in 2000 and currently consists of members Juha Raivio, Mikko Kotamäki, Matti Honkonen, Juuso Raatikainen and Juho Räihä.
