My Morning Jacket announce 'is' tour
Indie favorites My Morning Jacket have announced a proper U.S. tour in early 2025 promoting their next album 'is'. The 14-date outing takes place April/May making stops in Chattanooga, Birmingham, Austin, Irving, Houston, Rogers, Athens, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Louisville and St. Louis. Joining the tour on select dates will be special guests Grace Cummings, Bendigo Fletcher, Lacey Guthrie, Future Killer and The Jesse Lees. The band recently joined forces with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats for their Eye to Eye Tour which commenced in 2024.
UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended further into the year visiting cities like Morrison, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Chicago, Nashville and Atlanta.
My Morning Jacket will be releasing their 10th studio album 'is' on March 21st, 2025 via ATO Records. Their previous 2021 self-titled album includes the single 'Love Love Love' which reached #6 on Billboard Adult Alternative Airplay chart. Back in 2023, the Grammy-nominated band launched their 'It Still Moves' 20th anniversary tour which was joined by Devon Gilfillian and Madi Diaz. The prior year, they toured extensively across America along with support from Indigo De Souza, Madison Cunningham and Joy Oladokun.
