Robert Earl Keen announces farewell tour

Americana singer-songwriter Robert Earl Keen has announced a return to the road in 2024 following his appearances at Key West Songwriters Festival and Lone Star Jam. The brief outing takes place in June making notable stops in Knoxville, Nashville, Charlotte, Charleston, Durham, Grand Prairie and Alexandria. The new outing follows up 2022's I’m Comin’ Home: 41 Years On The Road tour which was originally billed as his farewell tour.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended through the remainder of the year and into 2025 visiting additional cities like Fort Worth, Mobile, Choctaw, Dallas, Houston and Denver.

Since beginning his career in 1984, Keen has released 12 studio album and 7 live albums. His latest album 'Happy Prisoner: The Bluegrass Sessions' dropped in 2015 and tied a career-best #10 on Billboard's Country chart. Back in 2019, the Houston native was inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame after winning the Texas A&M University Distinguished Alumni Award the prior year. His band members currently include Bill Whitbeck, Tom Van Schaik, Brian Beken and Kym Warner.
