Simple Minds announce 'Alive & Kicking Tour'

Scottish rockers Simple Minds have announced they'll be returning to North America during an expansive 2025 tour along with special guests Soft Cell and Modern English. Their Alive & Kicking Tour takes place in May/June making notable U.S. stops in Inglewood, Phoenix, Austin, Atlanta, Columbia, Philadelphia and Chicago. Canadian shows are planned for Montreal and Toronto. The band recently wrapped up their Global Tour 2024 which was joined by Del Amitri.

Simple Minds will continue supporting their 19th studio album 'Direction of the Heart' released on October 21st, 2022 via BMG Rights Management. The new album follows up 2018's 'Walk Between Worlds' which reached #25 on Billboard's Independent chart and #2 in their home country of Scotland. The same year, the band brought their Walk Between Worlds Tour to North America which also celebrated 40 years of music. The group formed back in 1977 and currently consists of members Jim Kerr, Charlie Burchill, Ged Grimes, Sarah Brown, Mark Taylor, Gordy Goudie, Cherisse Osei and Erik Ljunggren.
