Soul Asylum announce 'Slowly But Shirley Tour'

Rock giants Soul Asylum have announced an expansive North American tour later in 2024 to support their current album 'Hurry Up and Wait'. Their Slowly But Shirley Tour kicks off September 30th in Boulder and extends into November hitting U.S. markets like Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, El Paso, Philadelphia and New York. Canadian shows are planned for Vancouver, Montreal and Ottawa. Joining the tour in support will be special guests The Juliana Hatfield Three. The band recently wrapped up a brief U.S. tour in 2023 which was joined by Corey Glover.

Soul Asylum released their 12th studio album 'Hurry Up and Wait' on April 17th, 2020 via Blue Élan Records. The new album follows up 2016's 'Change of Fortune' and 2012's 'Delayed Reaction' which reached #160 on the Billboard 200. Also in 2020, the band launched their Dead Letter Tour across America along with support from Local H. The following year, their Back in Your Face Tour was joined by Local H and Juliana Hatfield. The veteran group formed in 1981 and currently consists of members Dave Pirner, Michael Bland, Ryan Smith and Jeremy Tappero.
