Dweezil Zappa announces 'Rox-Postrophy Tour'

Frank Zappa's son Dweezil Zappa has announced a major U.S. tour in 2024 celebrating the 50th anniversary of his father's classic albums 'Roxy & Elsewhere' and 'Apostrophe'. His Rox-Postrophy Tour kicks off August 1st in Phoenix and stretches into September hitting markets like San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Albany, Atlanta, St. Louis and his hometown of Los Angeles. The new outing follows up 2019's Hot Rats Live! tour which continued into 2020 and honored the 50th anniversary of Frank's 1969 album 'Hot Rats'.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into 2025 making additional stops in Riverside, Dallas, New Orleans, Memphis, Charleston, Orlando, New York, Toronto, Columbus and Madison.

Back in 2018, Dweezil launched his Choice Cuts Tour which was part of his 50 Years of Frank: Dweezil Zappa Plays Whatever The F@%k He Wants concert series. Three years prior, he toured extensively across North America celebrating the 40th anniversary of his dad's 1975 album 'One Size Fits All'. Also in 2015, the LA-based guitarist released his latest solo album 'Via Zammata' which was named after the street in Partinico, Sicily where his grandfather lived before immigrating to America.
