CAKE announce U.S. tour dates

Multi-Platinum ensemble CAKE will be embarking on a major U.S. tour commencing in 2023. The 10-date outing kicks off June 20th in San Diego and runs into July making stops in Los Angeles, Denver, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake City, Portland, Boston, New Haven, New York and Philadelphia. Prior to the tour, the band will be making an appearance at Mill Valley Music Fest along with Michael Franti & Spearhead, Jerry Harrison, Adrian Belew and Tank & the Bangas among others.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into 2024 making additional stops in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Lincoln, Kansas City, Wichita, Oklahoma City, Portsmouth and Cooperstown.

Back in 2018, CAKE joined forces with Ben Folds for an extensive co-headlining tour which stretched into 2019 and was joined by special guests Tall Heights. Their latest 2011 album 'Showroom of Compassion' reached a career-best #1 on the Billboard 200 and features a guest appearance by former member Greg Brown on the track 'Bound Away'. The Sacramento-based band formed in 1991 and currently consists of John McCrea, Vince DiFiore, Xan McCurdy, Todd Roper and Daniel McCallum.
