The Jesus and Mary Chain Book 'Psychocandy' Anniversary Tour

Scottish rockers The Jesus and Mary Chain have announced a North American tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album 'Psychocandy'. The spring tour will begin May 1st in Toronto for Canadian Music Week and continue through the cities of Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, Austin, Denver, Vancouver, Seattle and San Francisco. During the tour, the band will perform their landmark album 'Psychocandy' in it's entirety for fans to enjoy.

The Jesus and Mary Chain played a run of Psychocandy shows last November in the U.K. and France, where they performed several of the album's songs live for the first time. Released in November 1985, the album has been Certified Gold in the U.K. and has appeared in several "best ever" album lists. Through their musical career, the band has released 6 studio albums, 1 live album, 7 compilation albums, 6 EPs, 19 singles and 2 video albums.
