Khalid announces 'Free Spirit' world tour

R&B singer Khalid has announced a massive 2019 world tour behind his next album 'Free Spirit'. The North American portion of the tour kicks off June 20th in Phoenix and continues into August visiting major U.S. markets like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Miami. Canadian shows are planned for Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal. Joining the tour in support will be special guest Clairo. The new outing follows up 2018's Roxy Tour which was joined by PrettyMuch.

Khalid will be releasing his sophomore album 'Free Spirit' on April 5th, 2019 via RCA Records. His previous 2017 album 'American Teen' reached #4 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum by the RIAA. Also in 2017, the singer-songwriter launched The Location Tour which visited 20 cities across North America. More recently, Khalid received 5 nominations at the 2018 Grammy Awards for Best New Artist, Best Urban Contemporary Album, Best R&B Song, Song of the Year and Best Music Video.
