Nitty Gritty Dirt Band announce farewell tour

After more than 50 years on the road, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band will be embarking on their final concert tour taking place in 2024. Their All The Good Times: The Farewell Tour kicks off March 21st in Bowling Green and stretches through July making notable stops in Bloomington, Houston, Shreveport, Indianapolis, Knoxville and Fort Worth. Also during the year, the veteran band will be joining Hank Williams Jr. during portions of his Family Tradition Tour and making an appearance at Dauphin's Countryfest.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended further into the year and into 2025 visiting additional markets like Denver, Chandler, Indio, Tucson, Des Moines, Evansville, Morristown and Jim Thorpe.

Since forming in 1966, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has received 4 Grammy Awards and became best known for their classic hits like 'Mr. Bojangles', 'Fishin' In The Dark' and 'An American Dream'. Their 24th and final studio album 'Dirt Does Dylan' was released on May 20th, 2022 and includes 10 cover tracks of Bob Dylan featuring guest appearances by Larkin Poe, Rosanne Cash, Steve Earle, Jason Isbell and The War and Treaty. Current members include Jeff Hanna, Jimmie Fadden, Bob Carpenter, Jim Photoglo, Jaime Hanna and Ross Holmes.
