of Montreal announce 'The Sunlandic Twins' anniversary tour

Veteran outfit of Montreal will be hitting the road in 2025 celebrating the 20th anniversary of their classic album 'The Sunlandic Twins'. The 9-city jaunt takes place in March visiting cities like Carrboro, Washington DC, Brooklyn, Richmond and Asheville. Joining the tour in support will be special guests cumgirl8. The band recently wrapped up a sizable U.S. tour earlier this year which was joined by Godcaster and Tele Novella.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended further into the year with support from Bijoux Cone making more stops in Los Angeles, Seattle, Englewood, Minneapolis, Chicago and Grand Rapids.

of Montreal's 2005 album 'The Sunlandic Twins' includes the single 'I Was a Landscape in Your Dream' as well as the bonus track 'Keep Sending Me Black Fireworks' which features vocals by frontman Kevin Barnes' wife Nina. Back in 2021, the band launched a huge U.S. tour along with support from Locate S,1 and Chariot Fade. The group's most successful 2010 album 'False Priest' reached #34 on the Billboard 200 and features guest appearances by Janelle Monáe and Solange.
