Prophets of Rage announce North American tour

Newly-formed supergroup Prophets of Rage have announced a 34-city tour across North America. Three of the four members of Rage Against The Machine along with Public Enemy's Chuck D and Cypress Hill's B Real will kick things off August 19th in Fairfax and continue touring through mid-October. Their Make America Rage Again Tour will be making notable stops in cities like Toronto, Brooklyn, Dallas, Nashville and Las Vegas. Joining the tour in support will be special guests AWOLNATION.

Prophets of Rage also announced they will be hitting the studio prior to the tour and releasing new music. Along with Chuck D and B Real, the band includes former Rage members Tim Commerford, Tom Morello, and Brad Wilk. The band's name derives from the title of the Public Enemy song 'Prophets of Rage' from their 1988 album 'It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back'.
