The Cure announce 'Shows of a Lost World' tour

Goth icons The Cure have announced a monumental 2023 tour across North America joined by special guests The Twilight Sad. Their Shows of a Lost World tour kicks off May 10th in New Orleans and runs into July invading major U.S. markets like Dallas, Las Angeles San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Miami. Canadian dates are set for Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. The band recently wrapped up a huge European outing which took place in late 2022.

Back in 2019, The Cure launched a sizable U.S. tour before heading to Australia for additional performances. Their latest studio album '4:13 Dream' was released in 2008 and reached #13 on the Billboard 200. The same year, the band won Best Live Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards. After several line-up changes since forming in 1976, current members include Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Roger O'Donnell, Perry Bamonte, Jason Cooper and Reeves Gabrels.
