John Darnielle, Peter Hughes announce 'Bochum Riders Tour'

John Darnielle and Peter Hughes from The Mountain Goats have announced an extensive U.S. tour commencing later in 2024 performing as a duo. Their Bochum Riders Tour takes place in October visiting Alexandria, Westerly, Albany, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Bloomington, Madison, Evanston and Princeton. The full band recently wrapped up another major tour earlier this year which was joined by special guests Field Medic, Katy Kirby, Bully and Rett Madison among others.

UPDATE: Later in the year, the full Mountain Goats lineup will be embarking on their Arval Brethren Revival Tour hitting cities like Greenville, Savannah, Orlando, Austin and New Orleans.

Darnielle and Hughes will continue supporting The Mountain Goats' latest album 'Jenny from Thebes' released on October 27th, 2023 via Merge Records. The new album follows up 2022's 'Bleed Out' which reached #8 on Billboard's Folk chart. The same year, the band launched a massive U.S. tour along with support from Sweeping Promises, Pool Kids, Garcia Peoples, Abby Hamilton, Will Sheff and Cardioid. Back in 2021, they hit the road with Laura Cortese, Erin McKeown, Gabe Lee, Mac McCaughan, Flock of Dimes and Bowerbirds.
