Apocalyptica reschedule 'Cell-0' tour

Finnish cello thrashers Apocalyptica have decided to move their 2021 tour plans over to 2022 supporting their next album 'Cell-0'. The 21-date outing now takes place in April/May invading major U.S. markets like Atlanta, Orlando, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago and New York. Canadian shows are planned for Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Montreal and Toronto. Joining the tour on select dates will be special guests Lacuna Coil. Back in 2017, the band launched their 'Plays Metallica by Four Cellos' 20th anniversary tour which stretched into 2019.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into the fall making additional stops in Charlotte, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Grand Rapids, Nashville, St. Louis, San Diego and Las Vegas.

Apocalyptica released their 9th studio album 'Cell-0' on January 10th, 2020 via Silver Lining Music. Their previous 2015 album 'Shadowmaker' reached #7 in their home country of Finland and was supported by their Shadowmaker Tour which was joined by Art Of Dying, 10 Years and Failure Anthem. The same year, they joined Sixx: A.M. during their debut headlining tour across North America.
