Dream Theater announce 'Parasomnia' tour

Prog-metal veterans Dream Theater have announced a massive 2025 tour across America to promote their brand new album 'Parasomnia'. The 27-date trek kicks off September 5th in Reading and stretches into October making notable stops in Orlando, Atlanta, Detroit, El Paso, St. Louis, Columbus and Long Island. The band recently wrapped up their 40th anniversary tour which took place earlier this year.

Dream Theater released their 16th studio album 'Parasomnia' on February 7th, 2025 via Inside Out Music. The new album reached #6 on Billboard's Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart and follows up 2021's 'A View from the Top of the World'. Back in 2023, the band launched their Dreamsonic Tour along with special guests Devin Townsend and Animals as Leaders. The prior year, their Top of the World Tour was joined by Arch Echo and Falset. The Boston-based group formed in 1985 and currently consists of members John Myung, John Petrucci, Mike Portnoy, James LaBrie and Jordan Rudess.
