Everclear announce 'Learning How to Smile' anniversary tour

Alternative vets Everclear have announced a monumental U.S. tour in 2024 celebrating the 20th anniversary of their classic album 'Songs from an American Movie Vol. One: Learning How to Smile'. The 31-date trek kicks off September 13th in San Francisco and runs into November making additional stops in Los Angeles, Asbury Park, Baltimore, Cleveland, Minneapolis and Birmingham. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Marcy Playground and Jimmie’s Chicken Shack.

Everclear's 2000 album 'Songs from an American Movie Vol. One: Learning How to Smile' was certified Gold by the RIAA and includes the singles 'Wonderful', 'AM Radio' and 'Brown Eyed Girl'. More recently, the band celebrated their 30th anniversary during a huge 2022 tour along with support from Fastball and The Nixons. The prior year, they launched another version of their Summerland Tour which was joined by Living Colour, Hoobastank and Wheatus. The Portland-based group formed in 1991 and currently consists of members Art Alexakis, Dave French, Freddy Herrera and Brian Nolan.
