Jim James announces 'Uniform Distortion' tour

Coming up this spring, My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James will be launching another solo tour across America behind his latest album 'Uniform Distortion'. The new 15-city journey takes place in May visiting major markets like Atlanta, Dallas, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Detroit and Chicago. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Amo Amo. Last fall, the singer-songwriter embarked on a solo acoustic tour with support from Alynda Segarra (Hurray for the Riff Raff).

UPDATE: Later in the summer, James will be teaming up with The Claypool Lennon Delirium for a brief co-headlining tour across the West Coast. The 8-city jaunt kicks off June 21st in Salt Lake City and runs into July making additional stops in Bonner, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Anaheim, Los Angeles and Paso Robles.

James's third solo album 'Uniform Distortion' was released on June 29th, 2018 via ATO Records. A deluxe version including a new companion album 'Uniform Clarity' comes out March 22nd, 2019. As part of My Morning Jacket, the band's latest album 'The Waterfall' peaked at #11 on the Billboard 200 and follows up 2011's 'Circuital'. Prior to forming the band, James was the vocalist and guitarist of Month of Sundays, currently known as Mont de Sundua.
