John Legend announces 'Get Lifted' anniversary tour

Legendary musician John Legend has announced a sizable North American tour in 2025 celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut album 'Get Lifted'. The 16-date trek kicks off August 23rd in Highland Park and runs into December making other U.S. stops in Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, New York, Detroit and Seattle. Canadian shows are planned for Niagara Falls, Montreal and Vancouver. The artist recently wrapped up his A John Legend Christmas tour which took place in 2024.

Legend's debut 2004 album 'Get Lifted' was certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA and includes the singles 'Used to Love U', 'Ordinary People', 'Number One' and 'So High'. More recently, the singer-songwriter launched his Bigger Love Tour across America in 2021 along with special guests The War and Treaty. Back in 2017, his Darkness and Light Tour was joined by Gallant before his A Legendary Christmas Tour took place the following year. Since beginning his career in 1998, Legend has received 13 Grammy Awards among many other accolades.
