King Crimson announce 'Music is Our Friend Tour'

English progressive rockers King Crimson will be touring extensively across North America in 2021 during their Music is Our Friend Tour. The 28-date trek kicks off July 22nd in Clearwater and stretches into September visiting cities like Orlando, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Cleveland, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. Joining the tour in support will be special guests The Zappa Band. Back in 2019, the band launched their 50th anniversary Celebration Tour which visited North America, Europe and Central/South America.

King Crimson released their debut album 'In the Court of the Crimson King' way back in October 1969. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA and became one of the first and most influential of the progressive rock genre. The band has gone through several major lineup changes since forming in 1968, especially with founding members Greg Lake and John Wetton both recently succumbing to cancer. Current members include Robert Fripp, Mel Collins, Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Gavin Harrison, Jakko Jakszyk, Bill Rieflin and Jeremy Stacey.
