Kraftwerk announce 'Multimedia Tour'
German electronic pioneers Kraftwerk have announced a monumental North American tour in early 2025 celebrating the 50th anniversary of their landmark album 'Autobahn'. Their Multimedia Tour kicks off March 6th in Philadelphia and extends into April visiting major U.S. markets like New York, Washington DC, Miami, Detroit, Chicago and Dallas. Canadian shows are planned for Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Also during the spring, the band will be making an appearance at Coachella Music Festival.
Back in 2022, Kraftwerk brought another version of their 3D Concert Tour to North American featuring spectacular 3D visualizations/effects and mesmerizing visual landscapes during each performance. The tour originally began in 2013 with shows in Scotland, the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands. More recently, the group was presented with a Musical Excellence Award at the 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Current members include Ralf Hütter, Henning Schmitz, Falk Grieffenhagen and Georg Bongartz.
