Shovels & Rope announce U.S. tour dates

Folk duo Shovels & Rope will be launching an expansive U.S. tour in early 2025 to promote their recent album 'Something Is Working Up Above My Head'. The 17-date outing kicks off February 14th in Memphis and continues into March making notable stops in Dallas, Nashville, Atlanta, Orlando and Detroit. Joining the tour in support will be special guest James Felice from The Felice Brothers. The pair recently wrapped up a major U.S. tour earlier this year along with support from Al Olender.

Shovels & Rope released their seventh studio album 'Something Is Working Up Above My Head' on September 6th, 2024 via Dualtone Records. The new album features a guest appearance by Gregory Alan Isakov on the track 'Love Song From A Dog'. The prior year, the married couple launched their 2023 Bare Bones Tour across America which featured "stripped down" versions of deep cuts and classic tracks. Back in 2022, their Manticore Tour was joined by Tré Burt.
