Animals As Leaders announce 'The Joy of Motion' tour

Progressive metal troops Animals As Leaders have announced a fall 2024 tour across North America celebrating the 10th anniversary of their best-selling album 'The Joy of Motion'. The 26-city excursion takes place in October/November hitting major U.S. markets like San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Detroit, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas and Los Angeles. Canadian dates are set for Vancouver and Toronto. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Plini. The band recently wrapped up their Parrhesia Tour which originally launched in 2022 and was joined by Intervals, Car Bomb and Alluvial.

Animals As Leaders' 2014 album 'The Joy of Motion' reached a career-best #23 on the Billboard 200 and includes the singles 'Tooth and Claw' and 'Lippincott'. Back in 2019, the band embarked on their 10th anniversary tour along with support from The Contortionist. Two years prior, they teamed up with Periphery for their The Convergence Tour which was joined by Car Bomb and Astronoid. The DC-based group formed in 2007 and currently consists of members Tosin Abasi, Javier Reyes and Matt Garstka.
