Bloc Party announce 'Silent Alarm' anniversary tour

Award-winning collective Bloc Party will be heading back to North America in 2025 celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album 'Silent Alarm'. The 13-date trek takes place in May/June making noteworthy stops in Forest Hills, Washington DC, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago and Berkeley. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Metric. Prior to the tour, the band will be making an appearance at Just Like Heaven Festival along with Vampire Weekend, Rilo Kiley, Empire of the Sun and TV on the Radio among many others.

Bloc Party's debut 2005 album 'Silent Alarm' reached #3 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and includes the singles 'Helicopter', 'So Here We Are/Positive Tension', 'Banquet' and 'The Pioneers'. Their latest 2022 album Alpha Games' follows up 2016's 'Hymns' which reached #14 on Billboard's Alternative chart. Also in 2016, the band toured extensively across America along with support from The Vaccines and MS MR. The London-based group formed in 1999 and currently consists of members Kele Okereke, Russell Lissack, Louise Bartle and Harry Deacon.
