David Gilmour announces 'Luck and Strange' tour

Legendary Pink Floyd member David Gilmour has announced a return to North America later in 2024 promoting his next album 'Luck and Strange'. The brief outing takes place in October/November making multiple stops at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl and New York's Madison Square Garden. Back in 2016, the British singer-songwriter brought his Rattle That Lock Tour to North America after visiting Europe the prior year.

Gilmour will be releasing his fifth studio album 'Luck and Strange' on September 6th, 2024 via Sony Music. The new album follows up 2015's 'Rattle That Lock' which reached a career-best #5 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold in the UK. Back in 2008, the veteran musician won the Ivor Novello Lifetime Contribution Award along with the Outstanding Contribution title at the Q Awards. Rolling Stone magazine classified him as the #14 greatest guitarist of all time.
