Devin Townsend announces 'PowerNerd' tour

Veteran artist Devin Townsend has announced a substantial North American tour in 2025 behind his brand new album 'PowerNerd'. The 15-date trek takes place in May making notable U.S. stops in Atlanta, Orlando, New York, Detroit and Los Angeles. Canadian shows are planned for Montreal and Toronto. Joining the tour in support will be special guests TesseracT. Prior to the tour, the musician will be joining Myles Kennedy during the UK portion of his Art of Letting Go Tour.

Townsend released his 22nd studio album 'PowerNerd' on October 25th, 2024 via Inside Out Music and his own HevyDevy Records label. The new album follows up 2022's 'Lightwork' which reached #56 on Billboard's Top Current Album Sales chart. Two years prior, the Canadian singer-songwriter launched his Empath Tour which was joined by Haken and The Contortionist. Back in 2017, he toured extensively across America along with support from Thank You Scientist and ONI.
